Dcard(Dica) is a website in Taiwan that provides social networking services and only allows students from some universities in Taiwan and overseas to register.

The founders are Lin Yuqin and Jian Qinyou from National Taiwan University. Their university’s creative entrepreneurship program has created a course called “Dcard” social networking site. They realized that most students only make friends in their daily lives and do not have the opportunity to connect with more people, so they discussed the feasibility of the website’s development. In 2011, when Dcard launched its online service, it only opened registration for National Taiwan University and National Chengchi University students. Later, it gradually opened registration for other universities, and now it is a large forum with over one million members. It is also a company with a capital of up to 40 million and has received hundreds of millions in financing.

Users of the website will receive an anonymous invitation card (Dcard) paired by the system every midnight. If they are interested in getting to know each other, they can send out a friend invitation. The person who receives the friend invitation must agree to the invitation before midnight on the same day in order for both parties to become friends. Once missed, these two users will no longer receive or draw each other’s Dcard (suitable for dating sisters)~~~

Application begins

Open the registered address: https://www.dcard.tw/signup

After filling it out, clickAfter registration/login, the email will receive a confirmation email.

Click OK to complete, and we will enter the homepage of the Deca website, which prompts that the authentication has been completed! （This is just completing the registration of an account, but the school certification has not been carried out yet, so it is not possible to post or draw card invitation papers!）

Verify eligibility

This step is only for demonstration purposes! The real registration information for Dica requires a normal traditional Chinese name, and the avatar must be a real person avatar. Cartoon and non character avatars will be rejected.

After clicking on the step to continue verifying the school mailbox, if your education mailbox is in the list of schools allowed by Deca, the school information will automatically appear.
